After a year of pinning different ideas, I settled on Brag Tags. The idea isn't new, and if you are a Pinterest user I'm sure you've seen various bulletin boards and pins featuring these adorable little chains and tags or beads, but I can't wait to implement it in my classroom this year!
First, I created a bulletin board where my students' brag tags will be displayed. They can wear them during special celebrations and assemblies, but they will stay on the board the rest of the time.
I also love using the habits to support Class Dojo. I plan on using Class Dojo for class rewards and student rewards this year, which you can read about here.
The WOOT Wall beads are also a fun way for my students to track their progress, and the same goes for the Rockin Reader tags and the Mark Twain book beads.
I also plan on giving out my own brag tags for special things like losing a tooth, birthdays, holidays, school celebration days, clean desk, etc.
And where do I plan on storing all of these tags and beads you ask? In my Teacher's Toolbox of course!
