Best Moment This Week- The best moments this week were still definitely feeling the little peanut moving around in there! I'm wondering where my placenta is located, because I still feel way more movement when I am laying on my side.
No bump picture this week. There was a lot going on. Symptoms- No new symptoms this week for the most part. I started working on decorations for my husband's 30th birthday over the weekend, and I noticed I couldn't lean over for very long without my back hurting more than usual. I am throwing my husband a big Nintendo themed birthday since Nintendo is turning 30 this year along with him! We had snow here on Monday, and since we find out the gender next week I knew I needed to spend some quality time working on birthday stuff since that time will soon be replaced by baby purchases, nursery decorations, and whatnot! I can't wait! Baby Stuff- My parents bought us a crib this week! It is really starting to sink in that there will be a baby in this house in 21 (or so) weeks!

Symptoms- No new symptoms this week! Baby is moving all around, especially during my class read aloud time! My class thinks that the baby must like the book we are reading since he/she is more active during that time! I've been having more crazy pregnancy dreams lately. Last night I dreamed my husband and I were at Ron Clark Academy in Georgia and he was serving up dinner to the students. Weird...and I wonder what it means lol!
Baby Stuff- No new baby stuff this week, except that baby received some Valentine's Day presents from students in my class and is enjoying all of the extra chocolate. :) Best Moment This Week- Feeling the baby move is still topping the list! Symptoms- This week was in a word, rough. On Saturday night I felt like I was coming down with a cold/cough. Sunday I felt a little better, and hoped I would turn myself around by the start of the week. No such luck. I couldn't breathe, my nose was constantly running, and I had a cough that I couldn't seem to shake. I was miserable for four days, and for two of those days, I was at a Leader in Me Symposium conference. It was so hard staying upbeat and talking with some amazing student leaders from all over the state when I could barely function. Plus, because of this sweet little peanut, I couldn't/didn't want to take anything except saline drops, hard candies to suck on, and a humidifier. Luckily, I've seemed to have finally turned the corner. I suppose I spoke too soon when I said to my friend Missy last week, "And I haven't even gotten sick yet!" Famous last words...
Other than that, no new symptoms this week except for the fun little fact that pregnancy makes you produce about double the normal amount of mucus...so that's been extra fun with this cold! Baby Stuff- The countdown to find out the gender is on! We have about two and a half weeks until we will FINALLY know! It's a good thing we find out soon, because I have Spring Break plans to get this nursery going! Best Moment This Week- I FELT THE BABY MOVE THIS WEEK! At first I wasn't sure what was happening, but as the days have gone by, I can definitely tell that those flutters aren't gas bubbles. Baby seems to be more active at night when I am laying down. I can't wait until the movements are consistent! |
