At exactly 31 Weeks, my poor husband had surgery to repair his ACL and to examine his torn meniscus and fractured tibia and fibula. Yep, he pretty much damaged his entire knee. Since then, we've been living a very different lifestyle. His leg is non weight bearing, so he is confined to our bedroom for the most part. He can use crutches to get around, and we have a wheelchair as well, but with his leg extended out completely straight it is very difficult to maneuver around. My mornings have changed to getting his breakfast and lunch ready before mine, refilling his ice machine, and making sure he is comfortable before leaving for school. Once I get home, the routine starts over again. Needless to say, it is exhausting, but it is totally preparing us for a baby! I am up every few hours, we're adjusting to not having our normal schedule, etc. He is going to physical therapy and today he is actually going to see his surgeon. So...that is indeed why there is no bump picture this week!
In other news, my parents and brother came over to help us build the furniture for the nursery! We still need to hang the art, put in the chair, and put in the dresser, but we are almost finished!
